Happy New Year!!! It's been a bit since I've posted. Lot's going on and the holidays took priority for a while. But it's all been great stuff! Since I sold the shop in August of last year it's been like a whirlwind. I've had the opportunity to spend time with my family and grandchildren (which has been amazing), reorganize some things at home (which was much needed lol), spend more time with God and really work on my intentions and goals for this year.
I want to thank all of you, my amazing customers, and friends for all your support over the last few months. Even though I know it was a good thing and a God thing to sell the shop, it has been hard. I miss the faces I saw every day, the conversations and hearing the miracles that God does in so many lives. Thank you to those of you who keep in touch and share your prayers and miracles with me and here on the Shades of Divine site.
A few intentions I have this year as it relates to Shades of Divine is to be more present. Blog more, do more videos, engage more with all of you.
Goals include more focus on my Chosen & Crowned subscription box, and I just launched today my new subscription book club The Blessed Bookshelf! I am so excited about this one too, you will have to go check it out!! If you are thinking about a smaller subscription and love to read, then this one is for you and during January I'm offering a great special. I love books and words. They have such power both good and not so good. Our tongue is a powerful tool and can be used to lift others up or tear them down. I know so many authors and have read so many books that just touch the heart and help to empower and motivate. Those with scripture are very special as they help to sometimes put scripture in a way of understanding more how God's words impact my life.
I love to take a piece of scripture and break it down to when and why it was written. How it applies today and how it applies to my life. Everything we need on how to live is in God's Words (the Bible), hence the Living Word. I'm amazed all the time at how His words are exactly what I need when I need it. Our God is so good isn't He!
Another goal of mine is my new Inspirational Jewelry line. I've launched it at Knot Forgotten (oh did I say that I now have a booth there??!! More on that in a minute). But these pieces are meant to help encourage and inspire and serve as reminders just how strong and how much we are loved. Perfect - no but loved so very much and forgiven for it all. Stay tuned this week for that launch, I know you will love these pieces.
So, in selling the shop, I just couldn't stay away from physical retail and the Downtown Brighton area, so I now have a little space inside an amazing marketplace, Knot Forgotten on Main Street. It's a marketplace with a mission and the owner Taryann is an amazing woman. Also, this is the building where I started my first brick and mortar, so it has special meaning. The shop and owners have changed but it still feels like going home. But I'm there 1 day a week so I still have time for my family and more of the ministry work I will be getting into this year.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need, and plenty left over to share with others.
