God’s Masterpiece – Beautifully Unfinished

God’s Masterpiece – Beautifully Unfinished

Blessed Community,

With the recent passing of Mandisa (one of my favorite Christian artists), her song "Unfinished" really started to resonate deeply with me as I was listening to it this weekend. This is a song that reminds us that in the eyes of God, we are all works in progress, masterpieces yet to be completed. Mandisa sings, "I'm just unfinished," a powerful affirmation that God is not done with us yet. He has a plan, and each of us is a vital part of His divine artwork.

At times, the path seems unclear, and the reasons behind our trials obscure. Yet, these are the very moments that God uses to shape us, to refine us into the individuals He designed us to be. He started something good in each of us, and it is our journey to continue, to rise each day with faith that our story is still being written.

We are all unfinished in God's eyes, but not incomplete. Doubts may arise, but they do not define our faith or our future. They are simply part of our human experience, reminders that we rely not on our understanding but on God's unending grace and wisdom.

As we move through life's seasons, let us embrace our 'unfinished' status with courage and hope. Let us pick ourselves up and live up to what we were created to be, in God's eyes alone. His timing is perfect, and His plans are always for our good.

We are here to support each other, to remind one another that no matter how unfinished we may feel, in God's narrative for us, every detail, every delay, and every detour is purposeful. Let us hold fast to faith, stand strong in our challenges, and walk confidently in the truth that we are indeed God's masterpieces, beautifully unfinished.

May we all find comfort and strength in knowing that God is still at work in each of us, writing a story of grace and beauty that reaches beyond our greatest expectations.

If you’re not familiar with Mandisa, she was an amazing and powerful American gospel and contemporary Christian recording artist and an obedient follower of Christ. She endured some extream hardships in her life but turned her life to Christ and led so many others to our Lord. She unexpectedly past into her heavenly life this past week to sing for the God she so adored.
We rejoice for you Mandisa and your presence with our Father and pray for peace for those who mourn and remember you.

The chorus from her song is below;
“Cause that world I painted
Where things just all work out
It started changing
And I started having doubts
And it got me so down
But I picked myself back up
And I started telling me
No, my God's not done
Making me a masterpiece
He's still working on me
He started something good and I'm gonna believe it
He started something good and He's gonna complete it
So I'll celebrate the truth
His work in me ain't through
I'm just unfinished
I'm just unfinished”

With love and encouragement,
Billie
